WILTON
Sara Khatib Design was enlisted to oversee & design the gut renovation of a Wilton condominium that was in need of some TLC. The homeowner previously had dated textiles, carpet throughout and vanities, finishes & tiles that needed to be replaced. She was dreaming of a relaxing, clean, modern farmhouse aesthetic that maximized the smaller space, elevated its appearance and fell within a reasonable budget. We oversaw the full project from contractor management to interior design and total project management—evolving this space from dated to dreamy. Some of our favorite highlights: we removed the wall-to-wall carpet and upgraded the space with gorgeous white oak hardwood floors treated in a white stain, installed white herringbone marble tile in the primary bath, and proved that a galley kitchen doesn’t have to skimp on style by removing the ceiling tube lights, upgrading to quartz countertops, adding new hardware and installing a chic farmhouse sink with gooseneck faucet. More art for the space will be coming soon.
